Why is it so special October 2

The date of October 2 has a very special significance for Indians. Any guesses why? It is the birthday of two important personalities of India. These two figures were the ones who changed the course of history and politics of modern India. By now you must have guessed the names of these men. Yes, one of them is undoubtedly Mahatma Gandhi. Now who does not know about our Father of the Nation? The great Mahatma, the freedom fighter, the man who won our freedom through non-violent methods. Although it took years to get the British out of our land, however, he remained persistent and unyielding. Their methods of Satyagraha (truth) and Ahimsa (non-violence) have become popular worldwide. It protesting against one of the most powerful of the time, without spilling a drop of blood of the enemy, is something only Mahatma Gandhi could have done.
Therefore, in honor of our greatest political leader of the time, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, October 2 was declared a national holiday across India. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated by offering prayer services and homage to Gandhi throughout India and especially in Rajghat, where lay the remains. Therefore, any speculation about the second personality who shares his birthday with Mahatma? Not many people remember him or her birthday, but he was one of the most dynamic leaders of his time. We are talking about the second Prime Minister of independent India, Lal Bahadur Shastri. Very few know that this great leader was an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He was the person who revolutionized the agricultural sector in India. The White Revolution in India took root under his leadership. He worked extensively to eliminate social problems such as food shortages, unemployment and poverty in India. His greatest achievement in his political career was the victory against Pakistan in the 1965 war between India and Pakistan. It is during this time when Lal Bahadur Shastri gave the famous slogan of "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan ', greeting the soldiers and peasants. Besides many national policies outstanding, Lal Bahadur Shastri also contributed significantly in politics outside India until his sudden death. AD Therefore, we celebrate the birthdays of two most important personalities of India in October 02 every year. One of them was the most important person in history, while others gave our country a movement in the modern world.
